This page provides information about the Simple Agent Designer End User License Agreement (EULA) and licensing terms.
License Overview
Simple Agent Designer is a commercial extension for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, published by Hougaard. Use of the extension requires a valid license.
License Types
Free Trial
Simple Agent Designer may offer a free trial period that allows you to evaluate the extension with full functionality. During the trial:
- All features are available
- Processing limits may apply
- A notification may appear indicating trial status
- When the trial expires, a full license must be purchased to continue
Full License
A full license provides unrestricted access to all Simple Agent Designer features:
- All agent types and worker configurations
- All workload processing modes
- All tool system features
- All import/export capabilities
- All mobile app integration features
License Scope
Per-Environment Licensing
The Simple Agent Designer license is tied to your Business Central environment. Each separate Business Central environment (production, sandbox, etc.) may require its own license. Contact Hougaard for details on multi-environment licensing.
User Access
Within a licensed environment, any user with the AI Accountant Hgd permission set can use Simple Agent Designer. There is no per-user licensing within an environment.
AI Provider Costs
The Simple Agent Designer license covers the use of the extension itself. AI provider costs are separate and billed directly by your chosen AI provider:

| Azure OpenAI | Billed through your Azure subscription |
| LM Studio | No API costs (hardware costs only) |
Each provider is billed separately by its own vendor at that vendor's published rates.
Simple Agent Designer does not add any markup or intermediary billing for AI provider usage. You pay the AI provider directly at their published rates.
License Activation

License Terms and Conditions
Permitted Use
- Use Simple Agent Designer within your licensed Business Central environment
- Create agents, workloads, and tools for your business operations
- Process workloads using your own AI provider accounts
- Import and export agent configurations within your organization
Restrictions
- Do not redistribute the extension or its source code
- Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the extension
- Do not share your license key with unauthorized parties
- Do not use the extension in environments beyond your licensed scope
Intellectual Property
Simple Agent Designer, including all code, documentation, and default configurations, is the intellectual property of Hougaard. The extension is licensed, not sold.
Warranty and Liability
- The extension is provided "as is" with standard commercial support
- Hougaard is not liable for outcomes of AI-generated content or actions
- Users are responsible for reviewing AI outputs before relying on them
- Users are responsible for their own AI provider accounts, costs, and compliance
AI Output Disclaimer
Simple Agent Designer uses third-party AI services to process tasks. AI-generated outputs:
- May contain errors or inaccuracies
- Should be reviewed before acting on them
- Are the responsibility of the user to validate
- Are subject to the AI provider's terms of service
Always review journal entries, documents, and data modifications created by agents before posting or finalizing them.
Termination
- You may stop using Simple Agent Designer at any time by uninstalling the extension
- Hougaard may terminate the license if terms are violated
- Upon termination, uninstall the extension and cease all use
