Installation
This page explains how to install Certify for Business Central.
Install from Microsoft AppSource
- In Business Central, choose the search icon and enter Extension Management, then open it.
- Choose Manage > Extension Marketplace (Microsoft AppSource).
- Search for Certify by hougaard.com.
- Choose Get it now and follow the prompts to install the app into your environment.
Alternatively, search for the app directly on AppSource and choose Free trial / Get it now, then select the environment to install it into.
Verify the Installation
- Open Extension Management.
- Confirm that Certify by hougaard.com appears in the list and is enabled.
- Use the search icon to open the Certify Setup page. If the page opens, the app is installed.
Approving Outbound HTTP Access
The app communicates with the Certify API over HTTPS. The first time it tries to connect, Business Central may ask you to allow the extension to make outbound HTTP requests. Approve this so the app can reach the Certify API.
After Installation
Once installed, continue with:
- Registration — activate your license (required in production).
- Permissions — give users the access they need.
- Initial Configuration — connect to Certify and configure posting.
