This document provides an overview of Advanced Cloud Security licensing. For complete legal terms, refer to the End User License Agreement provided at time of purchase.

License Overview

License Scope

ACS licenses are typically:

  • Per-tenant licenses
  • Production and sandbox environments
  • Specific Business Central tenant

Trial Period

Evaluation Use

  • ACS may be used in evaluation mode
  • Full features available during trial
  • Trial limitations apply to production use
  • Contact sales for trial extension

Trial to Production

To convert from trial to production:

  1. Purchase appropriate license
  2. Receive license key
  3. Register in ACS License Registration
  4. Full production use enabled

License Registration

Registration Process

  1. Open License Registration in ACS
  2. Enter provided license key
  3. Verify registration successful
  4. Features activated

Registration Information

License registration requires:

  • Valid license key
  • Internet connectivity (for verification)
  • Admin permissions in ACS

License Features

Security License

Includes:

  • Unlimited security features
  • Field visibility control
  • Field editability control
  • Action controls
  • Data filters
  • User filters
  • Assignment to users, groups, permission sets

Compliance Add-On

Adds to Security license:

  • Compliance table tracking
  • Field change logging
  • Approval workflow
  • Compliance log and reporting

License Restrictions

Prohibited Uses

The license does not permit:

  • Redistribution of ACS
  • Reverse engineering
  • Use on non-licensed tenants
  • Sharing license keys

User Limits

  • Standard licenses: Per tenant, all users
  • Check your specific license for any user limitations

Maintenance and Updates

Included Updates

  • Bug fixes
  • Compatibility updates
  • Minor feature enhancements

Major Versions

  • Major version upgrades may require renewal

Renewal

License Renewal

Transferability

Termination
