First-Time Navigation
After installing and configuring the SharePoint Connector, this guide helps you find your way around and understand where the connector features appear in Business Central.
The SharePoint FactBox
The primary interface for the SharePoint Connector is the FactBox that appears on the right side of Business Central pages.
Where to Find It
The SharePoint FactBox appears on a page when all of the following are true (see NeedsFactBox in Setup\Table Mapping.al):
- An active Table Mapping EFQ record exists for the source table.
- The mapping's Mapping Method is not Only Columns (flat-file mode does not show the FactBox).
- The license check passes -- SaaS Production and on-premises require the connector to be registered; SaaS Sandbox bypasses the license check.
- No subscriber to the
OnBeforeFiguringOutIfAFactBoxIsNeededintegration event suppresses the FactBox.
